Benni Duque

Benni Duque was born on the Big Island of Hawaii and grew up in North Kohala. Home of Big Island cymbals! Music has been a passion of his since an early age. He grew up playing in a band with his family as the bassist. Over the years he quickly found out that he had an admiration for the drums and started to hone in on that instrument during his middle school through high school years. Hearing bands like Sublime, 311 and No Doubt growing up eventually shaped his drumming style as a reggae/rock drummer. But he also has a versatile skill set and can play many other styles too. Benni has played with several different bands throughout the years covering many different genres. He currently is the drummer for Kona Town’s Finest Music. They are an upcoming band out of Kona. Featuring original and cover music with frequent shows throughout Kona and the Big island.
