pleased to welcome Cheydon as part of the Big Island Cymbal Ohana! Our newest SPONSORED drummer! A young Hawaiian drummer doing big things here in Hawaii as a drummer, but also starting to tour around the world with his band @wavvymusic. Sponsoring a drummer for our small company is a major undertaking and sacrifice that I make in order to help our company grow and up until this point, support Local drummers here in Hawaii.

Almost daily people ask me for free cymbals or some sort of sponsorship/deal and at times it can be disheartening. For this reason, it brings me great pleasure to sponsor someone like Cheydon. He didn't approach me about trying to get free stuff.

He was genuinely curious about my craft and company and initially wanted to support me.

Overtime I recognized his talent, drive, heart for drumming, and more importantly being a good person-someone I want to work with!

He already has a few Big Island Cymbals he chose to use, but I'm stoking him out with this awesome 20" Crash Ride made of Brazilian Bronze (which I love) but no longer will be able to get for the foreseeable future.
