Distinctly yellow but if you look closely you’ll see a rainbow of colors created by this natural process. Sonically, the patina provides a slight dampening effect making it perfect for the studio and lower volume performances. 100% Turkish Bronze and finished in Hawaii!

Efx Cymbals and Clap Stacks. A one of a kind-new to the cymbal world- approach to making cymbals. Not only are they visually stunning, they sound amazing too. This was a long time dream of mine to make these long before I started making cymbals. For this line of cymbals I teamed up with long time Hawaii artist Joanna Hernandez. This cymbal line is modeled after her “Island Traditions” Jewelry that is sold all over Hawaii, and every year at the prestigious Merrie Monarch Festival. Joanna is a pioneer in this kind of metal work which she has been doing for 40 years. We now have combined our efforts to bring these truly unique designs on to the high quality, 100% Turkish Bronze Cymbals that I make.

Big Island Cymbals First Series created- the name inspired by the bamboo you’ll see many of the cymbals photographed with. This collection of cymbals has a wide range of sounds and looks to them, usually containing a mix of unlathed and lathed finishes. This lathing creates a nice mix of dry and washy sounds, making it our most versatile cymbal.
